MONEY AND WEALTH – Principle 1
GOD IS THE SOURCE OF WEALTH
Shalom women of God. Glad you made it to this voyage. You desire to know more about what the Lord has to say on money and wealth. Then welcome to this expedition and believe me that this cruise will be just what you need to quench that thirst. I pray that we cruise safely. Let’s start with establishing some principles of wealth and money.
Psalm 50: 10-12
For every beast of the forest is mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills. 11 I know all the fowls of the mountains: and the wild beast of the field are mine. 12 If I were hungry, I would not tell thee: for the world is mine, and the fullness thereof
The first principle to establish is the fact that all wealth is from God. It does sound very basic but this is the basis of true financial success. You must understand that everything that anyone has belongs to God. You cannot go far in wealth accruement in the light of scripture if you do not enforce this principle in your thinking.
The Devil owns nothing and what wealth he gives is what he has borrowed from Elohim. The Devil can give wealth because Elohim gave Adam authority and leased all things on earth to him and her but when man fell, he gave that authority and lease to the Devil and so the Devil is said to be the god of the world now till sons are raised in Zion to fight and take from him what he stole from man. There is nothing upon the face of the earth and under the earth and under the sea and in the heavens that does not belong to God. All were made by Him and were made for His pleasure.
The above scripture is telling us something. In the preceding scriptures. He was admonishing people to give sacrifices. Then He gives this clause that He is not hungry. Nor is He a pauper begging for His next meal or for money for His bedding. Even the very body that your spirit lives in, is His. Even your spirit which is the real you is His. He owns everything we see, smell, feel, touch, taste etc. Even the dreams we have, the ideas that come into the minds of men are His. For He created the mind and put in it the ability to generate ideas and created the spirit as an image of Him and so the spirit has an ability to create just as Him. So all that man can create and has created belongs to Him. For He is the originator of the creative ability of man.
To push forward in your pursuit of scriptural wealth you must establish in your heart that God is the originator of all wealth. This is a great Rhema. If God owns all things then I am not obliged to feel offended giving Him His tithe and offerings. For the whole sum is His anyway. If God owns all things then my faith is heightened when I go before Him in prayer asking for things which seem impossible to my eyes and to my situations. If He owns all things then there is no limit to what He can give me if I have faith to receive it.
I pray that this principle is established in our hearts fully and that we grow in it and become established in it in Jesus Name. Shalom.
